Yes no problem.
My son is doing national service in the Finnish Army and lost his keys where he had his locker key on and has to pay for that.
In Finland if you lose your rifle you pay 7000€ and there are home searches by the police and for all the family and relatives.
I believe in Israel if something happens to your weapon it's an automatic 15 years in prison.
