CONTEST RULES:
- All traders are only allowed to place one βPRICE PICKβ.
- The βPRICE PICKβ must be placed no later then 00:01 am (EST) the day of the contest date.
- All traders must UPVOTE this Post to Participate and for their PRICE PICK to βCountβ.
- Winner(s) will receive 50% of this postβs earnings (SBD). π²π΅ π²
- NEW ~ Winner(s) will also receive a 80% UPVOTE on their COMMENT and the 2nd Closest Price will receive a 25% UPVOTE on their COMMENT from @revelationquotes. π²π΅ π²
- All Traders must place their βPRICE PICKβ in βUSDβ on what they think the Close Price of Steem (STEEM) will be for the Title Dateβs Trading Day [Example]:

DETERMINING THE WINNER:
- The Close Price for the days Cryptocurrency will determine the winner for the day.
- The Nearest Traders price to the actual Close Price will be declared the winner.
- If there are 2 contestants with the same price (or an equal price difference), the βPrice Pickβ placed first (based on time) will be the Tie-Breaker (if needed).
- The prices will be determined based on the USD value of the cryptocurrency.
- Participants will have to Upvote the Post prior to the winner being determined to claim any and all of the Posts Winnings.
- Winners are indicated by a REPLY to their respective COMMENT within the POST with the winning Close Price.
- Actual Trading Closes at 11:00 pm (UTC) / 7:00 pm (EST) on the day of the contest date.
*The (Close) Prices will be determined on the prices listed on https://coinmarketcap.com. The prices can be found on the Historical Data page for each cryptocurrency. Winnings will post to winners account after all Post Earnings are cleared through the normal 7 day cycle.

I received my winnings from a recent contest of yours and I thank you for them. However after looking at the amount you are paying out as a % of the total rewards earned I find it not enough (.22 SBD on a total $ amount of over 17.00) so I will be limiting my participation in the future. Also your upvote is not big enough to change my mind. Good luck with your contest.
@revelationquotes can not help the price of SBD at the moment. We do understand that the price has made for a lower payout for the contestants. However, we want to make everyone aware that @revelationquotes is the only one that is contributing to these Challenges (via voting bots) by investing Steem into each of the contests. If you check it out... We send SBD to bots to increase the payouts for the participants. If we stopped, the winners would get 1/20th of what they win now.
@revelationquotes is already losing account value by doing this. (The value has already gone from 1,300 to 800 Steem over the last couple of months). In turn, that means if we continue to lose valueβ¦our Upvotes will be worthless.
Yes, the payouts do look small compared to what the value of the post is reflecting (@revelationquotes is taking a loss with each bot investment). We are re-investing the Steem back into The Challenges. We do propose this question⦠Would you rather receive 0.25 to 0.95 or would you rather get 0.003 to 0.012 for the winnings? We can stop the investing into the Challenges and you will see what the return of The Challenges truly are.
We do understand what you are saying, however, do keep this in mind. These are free entry Challenges and Upvotes are small by those that do participate. We are already trying to do our best and trying to improve the payouts. We cannot help the price of Steem or SBD.

All that you said is true but when the system changes the payout form SBD to steem you could pay out some of the steem in addition to SBD. What will you do if no SBD is paid but only steem and steem power. In checking out the payout amounts as I am writing this it indicates no SBD will be paid so the winner will get zero SBD. It is your contest and you can do what you want. Good luck with your contest.

Just for your information I contacted someone else who has been paying out in SBD and he is converting the steem into SBD and paying it out. I will stay with that contest.
