You can look at it that way, but IMO Steem has no future if we only value committed users. When it comes to competing networks, the largest networks win, regardless of the level of commitment per user.
There are so many crypto and other software projects out there with committed leaders and developers. Without users they're going nowhere though. I've been to EOS events and there are far more developers than we have, by about 10 times by my estimation. Not much in the way of a user community.
