Let me ask you a question. Do you feel comfortable sharing your daily life in other platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and so on?
You can share to that extent that you feel comfortable. This is your life. You have to decide what to share and what not to share. The difference between Steemit and others platform is that Steemit is built on top of steem blockchain. If you put something on Steemit, you cannot change or edit it after seven days. If it changes later, you can do that then. But now you cannot edit or change your post if your post is older than 7 days.
Anything you share on Steemit, that is available to all. It is always public. You cannot go and make a setting like friends or only me. Now anyone can make decision what to share on Steemit.
Hope this answers your question.
