Hello everyone!
By the way, I am Ronnil. My friends call me Nil, but sometimes Ron, in short they just cut my name into two. Inside the house, my nickname is “Kuya” because my parents want my siblings to call me that way as a way of respect. Because of that name, kuya, our neighborhoods call me “Yang” instead of kuya.
I started my grade school at Antonio Floirendo Elementary School, the place where we originally live since birth but later migrated due to change of employer. I finished my grade school at Cotabato City Central Pilot School and finished my first year high school at Notre Dame Village National High School, also at Cotabato City. Another twist of my life when we transferred to Bansarvil, Lanao del Norte, where I graduated at Bansarvil National High School as first honorable mention.
Fortunately, my English teacher helped me to apply for a scholarship offered by 1st Valley Bank to those indigent people who are deserving students. Yes, I got the scholarship.
I enrolled at Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Technology as BS in Accountancy and graduated just this year, July 5, 2017. I am not good in college. I am not that kind of student who always studies every day. I was not expecting that I can pass the CPA licensure examination because of my performance in undergrad where I got two incomplete subjects (INC), both Auditing theory and problems. Yes! I passed the board exam. Do you know that my lowest grade among the six subjects is Auditing? Yes. I am really thankful to God that He gave to me the CPA title.
As a scholar of 1st Valley Bank, in return we are required to render five years of service to the company. I just started my career last December 4, 2017.
This is Ronnil, CPA!
