I've been dying to get my hands on something with EMG's. My friend Billy in San Francisco has a metal band and he picked up an ESP (The model that looks like an SG) with them and it sounds incredible!
I had a guitar made by Steve Benford. He's surprisingly affordable.

He's still at it (optimisticguy) Some idiot sent him $10! He's been getting a lot of replied asking for their money back... This is great- Some girl ripped him off for $14 and he's threatening to turn her in to authorities!!!
