For the few months I have been uploading to D.Tube as it is a great platform and am delighted to support the community, especially with YouTube's new (crap) monetization policies. Just one major problem, the revenue stream from the Dtube is very poor compared to adding a direct link to Steemit from YouTube.
In D.Tube the videos were barely seen and monetised.
When I added the YouTube link to directly, over 64 views, with over $50 of value in only 8 hours!
I love D.Tube and want to upload more but two main issues. The first, as I mentioned earlier, monetization. the other is that fact there is no option I know of to stop it from sharing on my Steemit blog. (Please advise if otherwise!)
Online creation is my livelihood and you all are amazing with your support, without you I can't interview all these awesome people and record cool tech reviews. Until I find a way to upload to Dtube with the option to share on Steemit I will be holding off.
