People I brought to Steemit (I'm so proud!)

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Hello Steemians,

some of you know me for a while. I've been here since July 2016. Yep... almost a year.

I've talked about Steemit to many people but as we well know, there is a huge difference between the early adopters and the majority. Some checked the website out but never registered, some registered but are not blogging and only a minority decided to contribute actively.

This is no advertising. I just wanna brag about the good users I was able to bring aboard.

You are welcome to follow them if you thing they deserve it.

The first one is...

I thought she might like Steemit and did my pitch. She didn't pay much attention because she was busy and tired of... social networks.
Oh... and she was tired of my endless speeches about bitcoin, which she didn't understood much.

I had to insist a little bit because she is my girlfriend and was complaining I was spending too many hours in the laptop. She was right but I was also right because Steemit is greeeeeat.
Fortunately, she finally tried it and now I'm the one complaining : )
Now she spends more time here than I do, she's a better steemian than I am, interacts a lot, writes good posts and have more Steem Power and reputation than me. Yep... I now have a cryptogirl.

She started by writing about biology issues, mainly the problematic of invasive species. More recently she initiated the lovefriday tag, which consists in sharing content about love every friday, but she became known for her awesome sunday cooks. Here is her explanation of sunday cooks:

On Sundays, I like to prepare more elaborate and delicious food. It requires time and patience. Usually, I cook some traditional Portuguese food, or at least with Portuguese inspiration :)

Just look at this Pork loin in the oven with apple

When she or we spend the sunday out and there's no opportunity for cooking... there's a chance to walk and relax. That's why sometimes sunday cooks are replaced by Sunday Walks

Well he wrote it all in his profile. He's a naturalist and he's specially interested in biology, ecology, biodiversity, natural landscapes, nature & wildlife photography, among many other things...

He has superb photos and that's why I thought we would be successful here. He has participated in the Steemit Photo Challenge with great entries. His number of followers has been increasing and his posts are consistent and never disappoint. I wanted to select a couple of photos or posts to include here but It's not an easy task. I ended up choosing these two.

Those of you who don't know David should really pay a visit to his blog.

And the third is...

Luis arrived to Steemit only a few days ago. He has hobbies like climbing and skydiving so imagine what he does for a living...

He said it himself:

I work as Freelancer Rope Access Supervisor. My job allows me to work in different areas such as offshore oil platforms, wind turbines and entertainment rigging and best of all to be able to travel around the world.

Is this promising or what?! I'm sure he has plenty of stories to share with us. Stay tunned.
