... so don't you think it's funny that Steemit actually runs on a technology developed by the very same Facebook? Namely: 'React (JS)' :)
I think it certainly is funny...
Nevertheless I want to point out:
- Steemit is a great platform, certainly am enjoying me way more here, than on the FBs. (actually haven't visited FB anymore haha :D)
- React is a great javascript tool, I've started to use it myself. (Disclaimer: Still doing the final parts of a video-tutorial on Udemy).
Steemit is just a website interface to the Steem blockchain. There is nothing special or revolutionary about the website by itself.
The blockchain database is what separates Steemit from Facebook -- or any other social network -- and is the magic that makes all this possible. The fact that a great number of websites use java script of ReactJS is inconsequential.
With all respect, I seriously doubt that most people really care about technology based on which Steemit and Facebook were created.
