RE: DON'T LET GREED DESTROY STEEMIT

in #steemit7 years ago

Thank you for posting this. I´m quite new on Steemit, but you pointed exactly at the aspect I was/am sceptical about. Nearly everywhere, where people talk about Steemit to make people join the platform, they talk about making (quick) money. Take YouTube videos, FAcebook postings, tweets on Twitter... nearly exclusively about money, money, tricks and tips how to make money etc. I - like everybody of us - need to make my living, that´s true. But I´ve always tried to make my money by doing great work. Great in quality and of at least a minimum of meaning and importance. I agree with your posting in all aspects and am/was happy to find it here on Steemit. Enjoy your time! Rolf

For starters, Steemit should not be about making a few quick dollars. It should be about sharing great content as you mention. The money supports the content and the time spent creating that content. In time, you should be able to earn quite a bit but it takes time and is not a get rich quick scheme.
