I heard @marsresident copy pasted his introduction post and redid it.

Thank you for your concern, but last night there was a server error and my post was only up for about 10 minutes before the servers went down for a few hours. I only reposted it because I need my account Verified, and it seemed to go completely unnoticed. So while you seem to have good intentions, your intentions are misdirected here. If I don't get Verified, I will post it a 3rd time.
What do you mean by 'verified?'
The whole concept of the introductions is to just say hey this is me, and this is who I am - show your set of skills so people can double check if you plagiarize etc.
If you mean verified as towards @cheetah just contact the creator and ask to be whitelisted. He has his own verification steps to ensure you are you though.
Although be wary you can very easily discredit yourself by posting the same stuff too much, as eventually it will feel like you're just waiting for a whale to make you go to the front page.
I am already Whitelisted by @cheetah since I am one of the first Bloggers to come here and I am moving my blog to the site little by little.
But...
So there is no difference between a Verified Account and a Regular Account? What is the purpose of Verifying? Is it just to make everything more personal? I thought it did something. Verification is not really defined anywhere, the White Paper doesn't even mention it. I thought there was more to it.
Sorry for posting twice then. I thought that Verification was like a part of the site, not just a Social thing. I am not going to post it again if there is no actual Verification process, so don't worry, I won't post it any more. I just thought there was more to Verification. But I never did it when I got here to keep all my trolls from following me here (I literally have an army of trolls that follows me around the internet no matter where I go, and I have a lot of actual Followers that I like to inform about stuff, so they get my new profiles every time I share it with my Followers. But here they are either not showing up, or being regular people instead of assholes). So when I got here I never really figured anything out about Verification, I just went straight to posting.
I did the same thing and never really did a community verification, although I don't tend to post informative articles or anything found elsewhere (asides from ripple news, which I also cite).
And most people on steemit are pretty chill, being a satirical troll I tend to post alot of informative narcissistic stuff. X)
