Sometimes I upvote my comments because they gain visibility, cause they appear first in the comments list. Thats interesting if you have spend some time trying to comment something interesting. What do you think about that? In the long run is not worth to upvote your own posts?

A self-vote is very rarely justified. I happened to find a situation yesterday that required a self-vote on my comment. Someone commented on my old post and since i couldn't edit the post anymore, i had to comment on it, but the comment was at the bottom, so i chose to self-vote it to get it to the top so everyone would see the message that the information was outdated. Other than situations like this, i think it's almost never justified to self-vote anything.
I feel like sometimes voting your own comment makes sense. To gain more visibility if you really want everyone to see your comment.
