RE: Sorry, I screwed up and forgot to de-select the damn upvote button. @randowhale will awake soon.

My understanding:

Every time @randowhale upvotes a post, it loses a bit of voting power. When they posted to tell us it was back on they didn't uncheck the box that upvotes your own post, and this pushed them under the minimum voting power that they are trying to maintain on the account.

So... presumably it's offline now until it recharges.

Out of curiosity does voting your own post up decrease your voting power more quickly?

Sort:

maybe he used 100% power up upvote for his post ..Thats why his power down quickly

Yes, it was not intentional but since it is a 100% power up post I will leave the vote as it makes @randowhale stronger for you guys.

Yes it decreases at same rate no matter you vote yourself or others.

Nice understanding

Good question.

It reduces your voting power depending on how much percentage of Upvote you are doing on your post. That means if you are upvoting 100% to your post, the voting power will decrease by 1.

Incorrect.

A vote reduces your VotePower by 2% if you have 100% Votepower and are voting at 100% voteweight.

So if you are upvoting with 100% VoteWeight and 50% VotePower, you would lose only 1%... So it's: 2VoteWeightVotePower
That would make a 10% Vote at 100% VotePower lose you: 20.11 = 0.2% VotePower lost.

I hope that this clarifies it... If you still don't understand it, please reply.
