The only reason the comment section is cleaner , is because you might get a nice upvote from someone with a lot of steem power thus $$$. So of course , it's cleaner...it's your reputation at stake!

But reputations carry over
Your posts here directly affect your reputation score. Comments in an external chat room affect it indirectly at most.
Why not aim for a consistently good one?
