Our very own @richardcrill was our first presenter at the year's first Austin steemit meetup.
His presentation was about how to succeed on steemit. There is a lot of great information here especially for people just starting out on steemit. He breaks down success into three main points:
- Quality
- Consistency
- Communication
You could follow along with his post here:

Richard is a great guy and the organizer of the Austin Steemit meetup. You could find him at The Steem Experience on Discord if you have any questions or just want to chat. If you are in or around Austin you could join the meetup here.
I have a few more presentations by @instructor2121, @ajaxalot, and @steemcafe from the meetup coming out. Keep an eye out for those!
Excellent video! Man, I wish I was a little closer to Austin. I do have family there, but it's still quite the drive from Phoenix. About how often do you guys do a meetup?
@ruwan did such an excellent job making the videos! We will have another meetup before the end of March before @lindseylambz and I hit the road in @thedodgemahal, but I'm sure these guys will carry the torch. I think the monthly meetups will continue after that. They may even become more frequent when we have SMTs to work with. That's kind of why I created the discord channel at http://steemexperience.com/ so I could continue to do stuff like this while on the road. Soon we will be announcing our route and some interviews with other awesome Steemians.
This was a great presentation! Glad I got to see it in person. :)
Thanks @kittenlaw! I really just wanted there to be a starting point for the material, especially for the newer people. Sorry, I was running around crazy and barely got to talk to yall. @justderek's question was perfect! Thank yall for coming! We should hang out again soon!
hey, @ruwan thanks for sharing !! Definitely gonna take a look at this video and see if I can learn anything new to help boost me in the right direction.
Regards from,
@conradsuperb
Thanks a lot. There is defiantly some useful info in there for sure.
Yessir, I've been trying to hit on the points that @richardcrill mentions in the video.
Posting quality content, something that people will want to click on with a catchy title that attracts attention. Also, being consistent is so important like he mentions.
I have posted something everyday for the past week, which is the first time I have done so, but it has seemed that more and more people are starting to see my work by being persistent.
Networking, communicating and building relationships, as we well know, here on steemit is a great way to gain some support.
Give and you shall receive!!
Thanks again, really enjoyed the video and the helpful tips
Cheers!!
Well Done Gentlemen...

Thank you @ruwan! I love the snapshot, lol. It's painful for me to watch and hear myself, but at least it's real quick, real quick.
