I'm a Steemit baby and happened upon your post in the trending post list.
Since I'm not sure how often I will be posting, it was good to hear that it's ok to post, and that we shouldn't just post to post. I've tried to adhere to that same philosophy on Facebook, so it makes sense to me here as well.
Right now, I am simply enjoying reading other people's posts, upvoting, commenting and resteeming. :-)

Welcome to Steemit!! Sounds like you are picking up some great habits early on, which will really help you out! Posting just for the sake of posting usually doesn’t yield very good content, it’s definitely better to be happy with the content you were putting out. Starting out by commenting on others post is a great starting point as well! Keep up the great work and community engagement!
