RE: 11 Alternatives To Steemit - Times Are Changing

in #steemit7 years ago

Yes, it is provocative for sure. Steemit is still at an early stage with way more potential upwards compared to myspace when it died. It is more a long term comparison. What if other projects which start now will slowly overtake steemit in 2 years? Who knows. Time will tell. But I want to be ready in case it happens :p

Sort:

It's not smart anyway to put all of your eggs in one basket, so to speak. You can always use those other platforms to cross-post, so you're building an audience at multiple platforms.

On the contrary, it is actually smart to place your eggs in one basket. All you have to do is take proper care of that one basket. If you start chasing three rats, how many do you think you'll end up catching?

I also agree with you that there are many ways in which steemit can be improved. As a matter of fact, i wrote an article on that very topic of recent. I couldn't get enough attention though, an irony of sorts because this is one of the things such posts are meant to address...

Good insight. That must be why every financial expert in the world warns against diversification. Oh wait... they don't.
