Tears in my eyes getting no upvotes..hahah

January 14,2018 was the beginning of my Steemit journey. Started with 0.00 upvote.

Asked my friends for support and upvoted each others post. But still it ain't enough. As most newbie would feel frustrated and hopeless. Posted blogs as much as possible did it more than once a day. Exerted much effort in learning about the platform. Stalked people's blog. And admired them, with soo much jealousy.haha But from that gave me hope that these people can and so will I.

I came across bid bots. A term I don't know of. I am not a risk taker and didn't wanna lose my earnings from the posts I've made. Thought of it as my hard paid post for it took so long to earn such. So at first I ignored it, till I got really curious, since I wonder how others get so much upvotes with the post they made. Couldn't believe that even those people I thought of writing really good quality content even bid their post.

What is Bid Bot?

Bid bots are artificially created to automatically upvotes someone's post by sending SBD's or STEEM. This is somewhat a strategy to get upvotes easily. One must transfer a minimum amount of STEEM or SBD to the Bot of your choice. In some bid bot the minimum about is 2.5 but there are other who accepts lower than that. Then include the link of your chosen post to the memo so the bot can identify which post to upvote. For more information about the correct way to send to bid bots you can read @robin-ho's post. Pro's And Con's

In everything there are always positive and negative reaction. Let me share to you some advantages of using bid bots.

* If your lucky at bidding or if the value of the Steem dollar rises, bidding is at it's best. You can earn out from the bid that you gave.

* It is a good promotion. It will promote your blog and let's people see what you have written. People will see your post valuable for it got high votes. So it increases your reputation higher quickly.

* Advertisement, you are simply advertising your post. Giving you the opportunity to be noticed by the whales that the blog you posted has actually a good quality. It makes it so inviting to read.

* Inspiration, by earning high you are inspiring newbies to achieve what you have achieved. Letting them have the idea that anyone can actually write.

* Finally it a self confidence booster, as a newbie seeing your post earningakes you wanna look forward for your next posts earning.

In every coin there is always the opposite side.

* As I stated in the advantage you earn when the bidding turns out well.. But Bidding is gambling out your Steem dollars, you win some and Lose some. So not all the time you'd get bids as you expected. There will be times that it's lower.

* Deception your giving the wrong idea of what steemit is all about. Not all, but there are really post who are not even worth than what they earn. Mistakens readers mind.

* Greed, it makes you greedy sucking up all the reward pool. Giving it less opportunity to minnows like me. So ones reputation goes higher easily. Effortless blogging.

* Risky, it is really risky to overuse bid bots for   you can be blacklisted or be bashed when people discover your just bidding all your post out.

* Lastly it's addictive. When your used to seeing your post earning a lot out from bid you tend to have that satisfactory feeling that you would want all your post to be the same. Eradicating the thought of bidding but the pleasure of having high Steem dollar from your post.

If you do wanna use bid bots you can read @jrswab in this link https://steemit.com/steemit/@jrswab/how-to-use-steemit-bid-bots-effectively, to know how to effectively use bid bots so you won't lose much. Tips I also learned from reading his post.

There are things that we should try to become better, some are good some are bad. We won't become better if we won't take risk, gamble is the game of life. There will always be a negative and positive side. But with whatever decisions we make, Do It Carefully. And if we shall try bidding do it Moderately. Always set limitation of everything.
