You could get away from SteemIt if you have something more valuable to do. Something you are passionate about. Otherwise it is almost impossible. You are just making it worth.
You could restrict the use of SteemIt by limiting the time you spent here and having some tasks that you should do during the use of it.
Like:
- make 2 posts
- publish the first post and schedule the second for tomorrow
- read main topics of your favorite writers
- comment on 10 of them or how many you need to
