Read the white paper again. There are very good reasons why the system works the way it does. It's not just a matter of attracting the right people and spreading rewards fairly, it's also about preventing vote collusion and other attacks. Perhaps some of your ideas do both. I will leave that to folks who are smarter than me.

The white paper may mention something and the actual implementation may do something else. Like what we are seeing right now, it is clearly becoming a VIRTUAL VOTE COLLUSION. Though not intentional.
By the way @sean-king, do you find the suggestions AS BAD IDEAS?
