And I'm not gonna just give out money to people I don't know for no reason. Make a good post and I'll upvote (though it's at best 0.02steem), but don't just come around begging for my hard earned money. I worked for that. Sure some will say that posting on steemit isn't that hard work, and it maybe is not, I'm not a builder or anything, but it is work nonetheless. I didn't go around looking for accounts to just give me money, I wrote about stuff I like, and I research that stuff. So, it's still work, just not physical work.

I hear you lol and appreciate your comments Steemit is hard work as you pointed out, as I feel people get what they deserve. Kind of like you get what you put in! I have also helped a lot of people on here with money or materials they needed for steemit. But I knew them or it was for a good cause not some stranger who looked at my wallet and saw I had exactly 25 sd$ lol thanks have a great day :)
Well, you do also need a bit of luck to get noticed, but, that's a free market :)
And sure, I help out my friends or support causes I believe in, but I'm not just gonna give the stuff I work for to some rando, because they want to, lol.
