I agree, so much potential and I hope more get involved. I just opened a slack channel for Steemit Blogger Central as well yesterday. Trying to gather as many of us over there to share our posts, connect with others and expand mini communities to work together. Your invited if you want to check it out. My fiance at the moment is trying to put some coding together so an autoinvite link makes it easier to get in but its being a pain on her lol. I am no dev so I am lost on it and praying she sorts it out. But if you like to join us your free to send me a message with an email I can shoot you the invite to the Slack, my address is flaherty784#yahoo.com ....you can post your articles in some channels we created in the slack and I will run around resteeming what people post in there to our pages.
