CRAIG GRANT, JERRY BANFIELD & TREVON JAMES were on Steemit before you. But be happy that you are on STEEMIT before others.

We all know who are Craig Grant, Jerry Banfield & Trevon James. They are pretty famous on Steemit. And they were here before you and me. As a result they got more steem power and now their single upvote is worth about $2-6. And their Estimated Account Value is between $80,000 to $300,000.

Yes, it's true. You can check their wallet yourself.

According to a video of Craig Grant there are 150 top users, i.e. 150 ACTIVE USERS, who has as much steem power as Craig Grant (or more than him). His single upvote now worth $5, which can be used 40 times a day without loosing any power. A person or an entity needs between $300,000 to $400,000 in order to have as much power as Craig Grant.
(The data may vary NOW, as the video was Published on 8 Jun 2017)

Here's the video:

Craig Grant doesn't just take the advantage of being here or using steem before us, but also spends a lot, to buy even more steem power.

Here's the video where Craig Grant sells Bitcoin for USD and the POWER of STEEM:

Not only that, Craig Grant, Jerry Banfield & Trevon James also invest through marketing (marketing is definitely a form of investment, as you get more followers and earn even more). If you Google or search on YouTube: Steem, or steemit, or steemit tips and tricks. or steemit tutorial; you will find videos of Craig Grant, Jerry Banfield & Trevon James at the top.

Craig Grant do daily vlogging, and the videos are there, in his YouTube channel.

Jerry Banfield is awesome. I love him, because oh his promoted video on Facebook "How to earn steem by posting, commenting and upvoting" I'm actually here into Steemit. Before that I didn't know a thing about Steem or Steemit.

Jerry Banfield's long 1 hour videos are actually helpful, though those are bit lengthy.

You should definately check his YouTube channel. Very informative and very interesting.

Trevon James is also a vlogger. He is very fun to watch. His thumbnails are just on point. I like his illustrated picture, which he uses as thumbnail, display picture, and in pretty much everywhere he can use. He has a huge chunk of videos on GENESIS MINING which he updates monthly.

But what about us? The newbies? Those who got their account opened just recently?

Well the top 150 users don't follow us, they wont upvote us, because it's hard for them to find us and follow/upvote our content, unless we post something that suddenly gets viral, and is one the hot or tending section.

So what happens now?

Well we are doing F4F (follow for follow) and YUMPIUY (you upvote my post, I upvote yours) as our batch (the poeple who joined steemit recently) is easy to find, as we are writing introduceyourself posts, we are commenting or upvoting post that seems to be posted by someone like us, because upvotes from someone newer than us will worth even less whereas someone older than us will not follow us back. Thus we end up following and being followed or upvoted by the newbies like us. As a result we are getting less dollar per upvote as we have very limited steem power.

So?

Well Craig Grant, Jerry Banfield & Trevon James are like fathers and we are like sons. Someday we sons will grow old, will get more steem power, and our upvote will then be worth a few bucks. And the people who will join after us, they will go through the same process. They will be following themselves (their batch) and will get paid lesser then us. But, eventually they will be like us, although by that time we sons will be like our fathers. But our fathers will become Godfathers, they will own even more steem power and will worth even more.

It's like a loop, the earlier you join, the more you get as reward. Unless you write really really good article, or you are already a celebrity in some other social media (YouTube, Instagram Snapchat or Facebook). Only then you might have the ability to use the power of internet, the power of fans, to get more upvotes by contributing less. Imagine BuzzFeed opening an account on steemit. Their fans will come all the way here on this platform and will keep on upvoting them.

So don't cry that you are late or you have less steem power or both your followers and your, upvotes worth very very less. Rather be happy that you are here already. Still a long way to go. But the time when steemit will be like Facebook with billions of user, your steem rewards or earnings will be greater.

Oh! Btw, if you are looking for a reason to follow me, this write up will tell you about me, my liking, our mutual liking.

Sort:

this is good and so true, put the time in that the platform deserves and you'll be rewarded for doing so, like people that have been on for a much longer time.

More like rewards for discovering before others. :3

I was trying to express that exact thought but just used a much softer language haha

True, good post. Be real nd you will be more successful

I'm glad that you like the post.
And yes! The policy should be like: Be real, be humble, be the people's person and most importantly spread love and earn respect. :D

Good point.

I like you post :)

Thanks a lot Ahmed! :)

VERY well done son ;-)
