It really, really helps to have a community. Steemit is overwhelming otherwise. It's not easily navigable, certainly isn't intuitive (although it is simple), and there is a flood of voices every minute of every day. It's good to be able to narrow the scope. I'd like to look into homesteadersonline, qurator and muxxybot. It's coming to Spring and I have all this land . . .

They are all GREAT groups. Even though I belong to quite a few on Discord, I consider the homesteaders one my home base. It's where I started and what I post about.
And yes, making the connections with people through the groups has been s beneficial to me and my advancement on steemit.

Woohoo! I'm there and I'll be exploring today. I really miss working with plants and I very much want to set up a water catchment system and finally get my compost started.
