Any platform that chooses to adopt a censorship model is shooting itself in the foot. Younger, faster, more responsive and nimble platforms will have no problem stepping up.
You mentioned Zapple (correct spelling?) and I remember hearing about that, but isn't that not out yet? I also searched for it and couldn't find anything. If that exists yet, or when it does, I'm interested to see it.

The corporate censorship of speach is going to lead to the decrease in influence of the corporations that censor.
No topic or view should be censored for one simple fact:
If an individual or topic is censored, how do the masses (us) know that the topic shouldn't be talked about or the person shouldn't be listened to?
It's analogous to having blinders put on before running a cross-country race. It sets the masses up for social injury and economic failure.

It's in beta for desktop. I've used it a bit but it's still a bit buggy, like DTube.
