"Because this conduct probably does not serve the community so well."

I was a big fan of his before I found out he was also on Steemit, and do recognize that he is providing a service in demand, but it's just so much he's making and more importantly taking from others. It's not only hurting Steemians financially, but mentally as well- By dropping the overall morale.

I fought for a while, even changed sides when new information emerged, but I came to similar conclusion. If we focus on high-quality content and engagements, then the playing field can level out some by not playing into a flagging focus game.

I'm not out to make someone's rewards drop to zero, but my understanding of Steemit is that we are essentially battling it out against hundreds of thousands of other people for rewards.

I think that's the most effective and personally beneficial method to focus on our own growth and improvement. At the end of the day, we either complained, or produced something valuable.
