The expected drop away at sea level is 8 inches per mile squared. Sit with binoculars and look at a place ten miles or more away. The bottom 60 off feet of the land/object at distance should be obscured (or if presenting as a mirage, it will appear upside down). You can see with your own eyes it is flat. Then watch on youtube hundreds of experiments by normal people repeating this test over distances up to 100 miles away! As for the shape and what is underneath, who knows? All I know is there is no curvature to be found! And then you can easily debunk the other "proofs of the globe"then you can start to analyse the evidence for a flat plane of existance, then you can go learn about/debunk gravity, the unnecessary fantasy... go back to density and levity... debunk Cavendish, coriolois, focaults pendulums, go watch all the bubbles in the "space walks, the harnesses, the zero-g planes and on and on it goes, its years of learning, I dare say I will be intrigued by it for the rest of my life....
Ok for a minute I'm ready to imagine that the Earth is flat. Do you have any idea why it is so unique? After all, all other celestial bodies have the form of a sphere.
no idea m'dear! I dont really know much about other celestial bodies but from what i can see through telescopes, they are lights/mandalas of shifting colors/energies.... NASA and the vatican have special telescopes they tell us which show these other bodies to be solid spheres, but that is not what you see when you use any telescope.... plus do other celestial bodies have waterfalls and mangos and snowflakes and heavenly beaches and ... so many questions... I am very impressed that you are prepared to think of something so impossible even if just for a short time, it is very hard to do, well it was for me... gets easier and easier
(even though someone told me not to talk about it : )
Well, what do you think about this https://steemit.com/science/@churdtzu/what-shape-is-the-earth-why-to-argue-responsibly ?
Just read that, I adore Kurt and his big brains... I think its a terrific post, I resteemed it because I am not supposed to talk about it ; )
