Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 16/08/2018 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem prices and changes for almost 2 years.
I also want to mention just incase your thinking something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do slightly change from time to time.
But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as its important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 16/08/2018
Should you be trading with Steem today..
Yesterday Steem finally done some recovering if you saw the price update then you know we was green for the day, unfortunately today Steem goes down not by alot and not a bad downbump considering we was about to fall under $0.80 just 2 days ago, there was only about 3 movements of interest the first being the downbump after the price update and when Steem reached $0.89, secondly was the upbump at ⏰06.40 taking Steem to almost a complete recovery, thirdly the exact same thing happened again and now steem looks to be going down again, but in the end of all this not much movement which is a great sign / SBD went down today but not by much as expected and even if today was bumpy it looks like it will finally be settling down, also even if it doesn't look like it there are still huge amounts of Steem being brought I think some people are being smart and buying in and I am talking movements of $200.000

Yes your probably right @jkenny we could indeed start seeing a slow rise as its what we can see already, so time to get some more before it does go up.
I think the price will start to rise now. .
I can't believe how low we are getting.
I missed a day on Steemit, so crazy busy and when I saw the price today on your post, it scared me to see going lower and lower.

Its sure as been going low but here is the thing on the day you missed the price update we hit $0.81 so infact we have been recovering some, so we could potentially be already going upwards @joalvarez so hopefully this will cheer you up if it does continue.
