I don't mean he is boring in general, what I mean is with so many characters to choose it would be boring if you always fight the same one.

I get what it you mean but what if you always use same character it not the same?
People often say that to me, but that makes no sense, if everybody as their mains and you keep getting pared up with randoms then it's highly likely you will fight other characters which makes it interesting, but if everybody uses the same character then you always fight the same thing.
So you mean if every person all use same character in like 4 way battle it boring.
Not at all, that could actually be really fun with particular characters,I mean lets say all the people you play against all use the same character, every single match you always fight the same character.
So you say if people stick to mains online there be it more different character use.
Yes exactly unless everybody decides to main the same character which then as I said becomes rather boring.
