Orange Rose Blog Short Blurb: Something's Going On....

in #steemit7 years ago

As you might be able to see- something is stirring up minnows in the Steemit community, and I wanted to come out with my two cents. I, for one, find it problematic to the integrity of enterprise when its producers (i.e. bloggers on this website) have to rely on bots and accounts created for the sole purpose of upvoting in order to monetize its content.

I am not against using bots to bolster inefficiencies in the site's recommender system (it is in beta after all), but I do wish people would take time to also personally look into the blog posts and content, contribute discussion, praise, or other opinions on comments.

I do appreciate ideas like the online art school that both provide opportunity and incentive to continue learning outside of a traditional school setting. Is there any feasibility for multiple steem bloggers to form cells sharing steem power, SBD, resteems, etc? For example, delegating a small amount of your steem power to someone with the promise that the same amount will be delegated to you in the future; or a lesser amount along with SBD or STEEM?

I am asking this because I do not know, being on this site for less than a year. My knowledge of software is still a little elementary. However, there's great potential for many to gain if such an arrangement were possible.

A few months ago, I wrote a post about what I think a basic small mutual bank would look like https://steemit.com/money/@sisterray/the-orange-rose-blog-mutual-banking-a-short-introduction. Maybe we can put this to the test to varying degrees with content creation?Social Liberal Democrats.jpg
