Finally I reached 50 reputation after 113 days on Steemit. I know it isn't the fastest progress here on Steemit as i haven't gave much time to it anyway. Many people have reached 50 in less than a month.
Now having 50 reputation isn't much of a deal. In fact I don't think reputation is something you should care about much as long as you are equal or above 25.
Reputation is determined by the amount of upvotes you get on your posts or your comments. Downvote wil do the opposite. It will take away your reputation that you worked hard for. So be careful that you don't spam or abuse.

Yes of course, as i have mentioned in the post, it is totally dependent on the amount of upvotes you get. So your best bet is to spend some money on bid bots. You'll gain your reputation in no time.
