After flights and roadtrips, the Tezpur Meetup was finally there!
Yay! Meetup! It was so surprising that in the depths of India, there were so many active Steemians. I really was impressed.
Also, it was my first encounter where I felt like a mini celebrity as I had a bilion selfies taken. Yay for my day of fame ;D
We started the day quite easy. We did our introduction rounds after which I was pleasantly surprised by Assamese gifts! Gifts? Yeees! It took me by quite a surprise as I didn't realize people even knew I was joining the meetup in the first place, but I felt humbled and honored by the sweet gesture.
After the gift session, @firepower started his presentation in which he explained Steemit, STEEM and Bitcoin. He elaborated the technical background briefly, as well as the current use and the potential.
In the meantime, he allowed people to ask questions to keep the presentation interactive and the audience engaged.
After the presentation, we were open to answer any additional questions or comments - and there we go, the selfies!
Thank you all the attendees for coming and being so welcoming. It was truly an amazing experience.
