Every so often other social platforms are re-enlightened with new feeds. Steemit however, is completely different.
You see, everyone knows the potential money to be earned by simply creating a new post. However, this ease of money making calls for a high amount of un-useful topics. Things that people upload with the hopes of hitting it big on the 'hot' tab. Following on, the problem is an overflow of many different topics with the majority of them being useless (This post could be one of them). The future of STEEMIT could be the same as the current situation with Bitcoin having to face SegWit, UASF and UAHF all to speed up the process of transactions by REMOVING redundant ones. This could be a future possibility of STEEEMIT, a site full of redundant information filled in by posts.
I doubt this post will go anywhere or will gain any revenue but I thought it would be a good topic to talk about. I'm sure the comments (If any) will be delightful... Touch wood

Steemit will continue developing & it is not any different than what happens on Facebook and Twitter and everywhere already. Steemit actually encourage people to do a bit better than before. Because people are already posting a bunch of stuff already I they will continue to do that regardless of where and how and when and everything. Steemit is actually cultivating the fire and the energy and everything.
That my friend is a great reply. But I personally think Facebook and Twitter are more filtered. I know there are tags and what not but Facebook and Twitter are more cultivated to show what you want to see only. You can only select one tag at a time (To my knowledge).
Facebook has many words and tags. Their search engine is built into their own website and every thing you write is a tag or keyword in Facebook and every word is findable.
I don't think you understand quite how the Steem blockchain works... It runs on a Delegated Proof Of Stake, not Proof Of Work. Its governance model is consensus based which means the top 19 witnesses would have to agree to a fork in order for it to happen and that's why it's important to vote for the right witness. There is no need to speed anything up since Steem's transaction speed is 3 seconds. As for spam, that is why we have the flagging system.
Touche.
In a way i agree with you but the truth is no one can control anyones actions or thoughts expect the individual performing said functions themselves. I believe in quality content just like this one which draws attention to something which if ignored could jeopardise this lovely community. If i read it and love it, you get an upvote if not i will ignore it and so should all
Very well said. Thank you.
