If you are already following me, you know that I am passionate about marketing and have several marketing endeavors that I believe will help people learn about Steemit.
Steemitnow on Instagram is one of these endeavors.
I am happy to share that the account now has over 300 followers! Steemitnow is up to 331 followers as I write this post, which is awesome considering the account was created in 2017.
Individual posts are starting to get more likes and comments as you can see below. This is a great sign!
My bot is doing quite a good job with liking posts for this account. I have it set to like post based on keywords such as bitcoin, steem, blogging, writing, food, and technology.
Occasionally I turn on the auto follow for my bot, but not for long as this tends to get out of hand. Social profiles should have a bigger following than number of accounts they follow.
How you can help:
Like the account on Insta! https://www.instagram.com/steemitnow/
Engage with the posts. Show other instagram followers how excited you are for Steemit with a comment.
How are you telling people about Steemit? Let me know!
A few other things to mention:
When will this posting bug be resolved? Posting on Steemit.com in Chrome is super weird right now and only a few others are talking about it. (Cursor jumps around, can't hyperlink text etc.)
If you are not aware, here are the upcoming changes we will see on Steemit due to the blockchain hardfork (17 & 18):
-Remove Posting Rate Limit.
-The comment depth limit has been increased to 255.
-Comments can now be permanently edited.
-Comments are now paid out independent of their discussion.
-All comments are paid out 7 days after creation and there is no longer a second payout window.
-There is now a comment reward fund separate from posts.
-All payouts now look at the prior 30 days of payouts to determine the share of the reward rather than the current pending rshares.
-Reward Balance must be claimed.
-Comment Reward Beneficiaries
-Delegated Steem Power.
-Accounts can be created with a smaller fee and an initial Steem Power delegation.
-PoW is being removed.
-NTP is disabled by default
