Hello guys lets have a open interaction here on the fall of steem. I will like to get yoir own opinion what the future holds for steem over the current instability of bitcoin right now.
Segwit and segwit2x could well be a contributing factor. I've seen a lot of FUD going around about how Bitcoin is going to split into two coins because of the hardfork. That has a lot of people concerned and selling out. I'm not too concerned yet as even the Bitcoin Core guys can't predict what is going to happen for sure, and some of them sound optomistic. Of course, not everyone is comfortable dealing with uncertainty. But I can understand where new-comers to Bitcoin could be panicked.
The value of Bitcoin is decreasing so it caused the value of steem to decrease. I think it's because of segwit
