I think steemit system is now working exactly what steemit intended.
Many whale recognize that when many steemit users incresed to 100,000 ~ 1,000,000 or more, your worries can happen. But rule changing is still danger at this point because of bots' upvoting.
Whales will recognize power down and distribute their steempowers to the others is great strategy not to be many great contents unvalued, and this will make steemit platform more valuable. Furthermore steemit system designed to enrich middle class. Many newbies are becoming dolphines. And whales relative steempower becoming down and down slowly because of inflation system.
If they derelict their role, they will be punished by steem market value. Large steempower holders have the more responsibility to their actions, and they recognize it, as @steemedbroccoli mentioned in reply for this article.
It's just early stage of steemit. So it is 'beta' version still now. Let's see how this platform changes in futures.
