Is anyone else having trouble changing their password keys? I have watched 5 videos and I am still having problems.

HELP!   I Don't Know What I Am Doing Wrong!!!

I really want to get started on steemit but I understand that there are different password keys for different functions and I am supposed to change my posting key and re-login under that key.  Is this correct?

Finally figured out where to change the password and for some reason it wanted the owner first, I think, or master key....

and what is WIF?

I changed the master key and re-logged in then attempted to change the posting key.  At first I tried to change the public key and it said to change to the private key so I copied the private and attempted to change it but a notice came up saying I didn't have owner authority, I think that is what it said.

The same thing happened when I tried to change the active key.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Calm down :D why you want to change the password in the first place? And for any sirious action you need special keys for protection, so you need to pay attention not to mess up anything or lost password

Yes, I know, markosky and thanks for responding. I heard from several sources that you need to change your passwords. And you should post and upvote logged in with the posting key. I backed up all the passwords I changed, original and new generated. I hope I haven't messed things up already.
