SBDs through the roof!

in #steemit7 years ago

I haven't logged into Steemit for a while!

When I started with Steemit, I invested approximately $700 into purchasing Steem Power. I'm a firm believer that one has to invest a little, to earn!

I took the time to create some content and tried to promote my posts but things didn't really move that far. Honestly, I got a bit discouraged with the platform as I realized that it's full of bots and tricks to boost your posts and then I realised that it's not all about quality content.

Given my busy day job, my other side projects, getting married, I didn't want to go down this path of learning how different bots work, so I decided to leave the platform and focus on more important things.

Today, I logged in for the first time in a while and was amazed to see that my "Estimated Account Value = $2290".

SBD has risen three-fold, since when I bought in and albeit that isn't as much growth as other altcoins have seen, it's still a nice surprise. :)

I'm powering down now. I don't know if I'm going to keep posting and give Steemit another shot, or if i'm going to just cash out on my little investment and move onto bigger & better things!

I put less in but probably further back, or at least during a downturn. Welcome back!

Nice. Thanks!

Think about it this way: 2k isn't life changing money, but what if Steem rises to the moon?

Maybe just take out your initial 700 dollar investment that way the rest is profit.

True that. Pulling out the initial investment and putting it somewhere else might be a nice idea.
