The most factor that can attract people is Money which means rewards for voting.
So basically that is the main strength of Steemit and it should be.
The fact that you can earn by posting something could be pretty good motivation.
For more profit, you have to be voted more by many people
(of course you get stick with whales for that but I'm just focusing on general circumstances)
and for that you need posting of good quality.
That means even if someone act just for himself, it wouldn't harm the community.
(What about someone who buys lots of steem and only does self-upvote? Even in that case, it is at least like POS. Also he is beig demand of steem and should hold steem power for that act. So it's not gonna harm the community. I'm thinking about posting of those situations)
And the power source of rewards is from the blockchain itself, not other things like donation.
the first phrase on the white paper of steem is,
'An incentivized, blockchain-based, public content platform.'
Definitely those words are saying the exact direction of steemit.
steemit is based on blockchain which is very solid and run by the people who act for themselves(this is one of the most important part, even if majority of members are being selfish that doesn't harm community, rather benefit it.)(And that is also one of the most important character of blockchain)
Anyway during those are going on, steemit would grow up naturally
and attract people by good contents & rewards.
(In my opinion steemit should have the similar way of Youtube, not Facebook or Twitter)
To be continued..(Maybe..)
You have the point, but it's all about strategy. In order for one to survive or to last long on this platform, one has to do techniques. Interesting post ^^
Yes, I agree with you. Gotta focus on what you said, or would be easily disappear..
