Wow, you gave newbie Steemians a lot of hope and encouragement about being successful, while maintaining integrity. I have to admit learning the authentic ramifications of Steemit, often reduces to the bottom line being a 'gut' thing.
I recently responded to a comment about someone promoting the “self” vote. It seemed a bit disingenuous. You know, that unsettling you get in your spirit when something is just not right? Well, thank-you for offering a no-bones-about-it clarification. Your statement, "You're eroding any respect that people have for you" says it all. Thank-you.
I acknowledged in my reply, the RATIONALIZATION that well, yeah, we should support our own work. SMH...That's like patting yourself on the back, when really no one else is in agreement with you. Tsk!
But, to wrap this up...You are 100% right, and, a primary example of this undeniable fact: "This is revolutionary." Certainly, Steemit is making the other big players, (i.e. Facebook and YouTube) perk an ear and take notice. It will be interesting to see how, and if, they will be able to successfully counter. Of course, I believe they will fare well; because, the Steemit platform is very different in a lot of ways.
