It's a problem. At least we can take comfort, knowing the likes of @patrice and @steemcleaners are working hard to mitigate abuse.

Sadly this can be said about all aspects in life. Keep being true to yourself and post decent content, I know it's frustrating but I'd much prefer to post good material and get hardly any recognition for it than plagiarise or post a generic throwaway blogpost and make loads of money off of it. Sure, it would be nice to sit on top of the mountain knowing I don't have to worry about money for the next couple of years, but see it as practice for your blog or a way to make friends and/or connections for the future. I write books and it's a great way to keep my writing sharp in between books. It's been over a year since my last one so I know I'm rusty, but I'd be a lot worse if I didn't do this.

Point being, the reality is most of us won't make any (decent money) on here. you can't swim against the river forever. Try and see what benefits you can find on here besides money, because if you focus on the money side of things you'll be like thousands of quality writers on here that are banging their heads against the wall in frustration...
