Steemit happens to be also a blockchain. You have every right to deal in ctyptocurrency here. You can earn in steem or steemdollars. That is your right too.

A problem arises when a niche of people believe they can control steemit. It is all because they saved more and have power. No man is an island. We live for wach other whether wealthy or poor, strong or weak or influencual and less significant. We need each other.
Here are the Dos and Donts On Steemit

- Never give up.
Even if things seem wrong, keep up on steemit. Steemit is for us. It needs us not as individuals but as a community. We need each other for the flourishing of steemit.

- Keep up engaging and interacting with others.
It does not matter your vote power. It may be great or meagre but it counts. With 1,000 votes of 0.01 will make one get 10 dollars. That is not bad really knowing the interaction and comments you get from the one thousand. It will keep us hooked.

- Never be proud to be a whale
One has to understand that rising and falling is emminent in such a site. Always bent down to encourage the low. Afterall, you need their support. They can vote you as a witness or proxy. You need them too. It is good to give back to them too.

- Invest in steemit
Invest money, time and energy in steemit. Yoy do not know when it will come handy. Isually, the more the investment is the more power you have. So invest.

- Avoid powering down
Powering down will lower your power. It will weaken steemit with that little powering down that you make. A company should have enough capital in order to be strong. I think steemit is so too.

I am still writing on steemit daily
Am happy you do dear. I want also to keep posting here
You're not wrong with a lot of your advice, but sometimes, powering down is a good thing, especially if you're able to sell the Steem you get out of it. A healthy Steem community does need some Steem trading hands. That's not to say you should power down everything all the time, but there is a time and a place for selling your Steem to help others grow.
For the most part, it's a good idea to power up. And if you can afford to buy, do it!

I get it my friend. Thank you for the advice
Thanks for your post, I liked it. Knowing how to live in society is essential, without believing us the only ones in this SOCIAL network
