Steemit solves problem for authors so they got finally paid for they activity. It is very good. But it also creates other problems:
- people think it is easy money and instead posting quality content they are spamming/stealing just to get paid for nothing;
- even worse, I noticed that in many comments people are telling what others want to hear just to get as much votes as they can grab, instead of posting what they really think.
Its not good. And I don't know if it is possible to fix people's greed. Only thing that comes to my mind now is to add small fee for posting new articles (not comments) to not allow copying whole internet to steem because it's pointless...
That would make people think before posting but again it could create situation, that people will post only what other people's want to hear so maybe it's not best solution. Post in the comments if you have better ideas as to how solve this problems.
One other way would be to limit the amount of posts per day of people with less than a certain amount of steempower. Either they would invest money and turn it into steempower and help the value that way or use their posts more carefully and create better content.
Fees is a bad idea. We have down votes to solve spamming.
