RE: My Family Invests $5,000 in Steem! Earn 90% Delegating With Me @joeparys Today!

Lifetime access to a discord channel? Amazing.

How many self upvotes have you done on your comments today Joe?

And what terrible advice you give. You claim people should buy votes to their posts in a DTube video, so for anyone copying you, they'd lose 25% of their earnings to DTube thus causing them to be at a great loss. Terrible advice.

And all your self voted comments on hot and trending posts? Pathetic. You're not here to help grow Steemit, you're here to rape it.

And learn the difference between "your" and "you're".. an educator should know better.

Sort:

what's shameful about self voting? it's a way towards financial independence and is a foundational design principle. in fact, people not self voting and powering us is probably one of the main causes of this currency struggling to take off.

I take time and effort in generating original content and building genuine connections with my readers and other creators, each day I split my votes so half of them are for me and half are for others, unless I am swamped with work, then I just self upvote and then upvote all my genuine repliers at a 100%.

maybe if more people did that, we would have less pyramid schemes on here and in the real world.

Self voting is fine when you do it as you described. I vote for my own material, but curate a large amount of content as well. Joe's practice is to only vote for himself. Before he turned his account into a voting bot he'd comment on all the hot and trending posts and upvote his comment (but not the post itself...). He then votes on his own posts. And never votes for another content creator.

Joe's approach to making money on Steemit is to focus on his account, and his account only. He has no community approach here.

exactly. From the get go, this guy has been putting out terribly produced "MY WORLD FAMOUS STEEMIT VIDEOS!" "ACCESS TO MY DISCORD,"

WAKE UP PEOPLE! If you have a popular discord, discord gives you commission on it! LOL You are literally paying to access a service, in order for him to get payed more.... LOL

This guy is one of the biggest hustlers/scammers on this site... Even scammed his own family LOL.

I didn't know that about discord... that makes me even more mad.

Lol mistakes happen sometimes steemdrive - even to educators. thanks for pointed them out! Dtube does not take 25 percent anymore... they give it back as dtube rewards. Also, I’ve invested more than $10,000 of my own money and have yet to take any money off Steemit. Thanks for your comment and I wish you success here!

Joe... DTube rewards and the percentage they take of your earnings for submissions on their platform are two very different things. DTube rewards are rewards given to people who curate DTube posts.

The percentage taken from post earnings is simply for maintaining the DTube platform and paying the people involved in managing the platform.

DTube still takes 25 percent. It's right there in their FAQ. Buying votes on DTube posts is insanity.

Why am I educating a person who claims to be a Steemit educator?

I thank you for linking the article and you are 100% correct, Dtube does take 25%. However, if you use upvoting services for your dtube posts you earn a percentage back on those curation rewards (I think its around 25%). I appreciate you educating me more on this as well!

If you purchase a vote, the curation reward from that vote goes to the bot. Not you. And voting bots rarely give any significant profit in the first place. They get you exposure, additional upvotes from the community and increased followers. But the profit margin is more often than not very slim, if anything. Some will claim to consistently give profit, but in my experience it's never huge margin.

I've used voting bots on DTube posts as well so I'm well aware that it isn't profitable. Let's be honest here Joe, you're clutching at straws. I'm sure you know that you haven't ever made a profit on a DTube post where you've purchased votes. Just own up to that fact.

If the time stamp doesn't work, go to 9.20... The worst thing is how he tries to lure in the inexperienced(to pay for courses) as if those are net profits, while if you check the transactions, that's 100% paid votes(hundreds of STEEM and SBD) and probably even heavily -ROI. Disgusting.

If I upvote a DTube post, then I get a curation reward from them for that upvote. Based on that, the bidbots would get that curation reward for their upvotes or am I wrong here? If I'm right, then the bots get their share for the vote while anyone who pays get less.

25% exists on every single post on steemit, so that 25% is an extra upon that towards dtube? If yes, then bidbots can't really be profitable at all.

You're spot on.
