Noticed this article from Bloomberg Businessweek which is headlined "YouTube and Facebook Are Losing Creators to Blockchain-Powered Rivals" at the top of Hacker News. The Hacker News thread and comments can be found here.
I have seen A little more attention being paid to steemit and Dtube over last couple months and second time I noticed Dtube making it to top of Hacker News. The HN crowd overall tends to appear slightly negative on most things crypto IMO but I always appreciate a good amount of cynicism.
I think both are worth a read and to check out as Steemit slowly starts to get more exposure.
Fun fact; there are less than 10,000 users on steemit that have stuck around for more than, like, a week. The rest are either redfish or, as the vast majority are, dead/inactive accounts
Hey mobbs, where could I find some groovy stats like these?

Awesome, Thanks mobbs!
This is really good news. The exposure is long overdue for steemit and other blockchain powered content creators. They better be ready because the blockchain technology is going to remake the world.
This is in the early stages of growth here.....wait until the big time bloggers want a piece of this pie...
blockchain came to change the world, and steemit is one of the pioneer networks in that. I liked the article, thanks for sharing
