Good to hear you again. I'm sure you can build up your account again, but it's not so easy these days. At least you still have a high reputation. I have resisted the temptation of the voting bots. I really don't care if I'm on the trending page as I get plenty of feedback anyway. As you say, greed has risks.
I think flagging is a legitimate tool. Those who abuse it may find they risk retaliation. I use it to deal with spam, not if I disagree with someone.
I think we will see a million users fairly soon. Growth is accelerating, but they need to automate the signups more. The platform is evolving and we'll have to see how it turns out.
Steem on!
Thanks @steevc,
The platfom has changed a lot since I've been away. With a new EOS Steemit variant on the horizon @ned is going to need to sharpen his pencil and his game - but this is all good for Steemit. It's about time for some competition to rise anyway.
@dan probably didn't predict the rise of bots on Steemit - or maybe not to this extent!!
Steem on likewise!
I think Steemit need to move on to the next level where they can handle millions of new users. Then people will build even more services around it. It has great potential and I'd hate to see it go to waste
I think an EOS Steemit clone could dent Steem a lot, as it's already gobbled up $$'s like a Goliath as an ERC-20 token. One the EOS 'real token' is released, Steem really will become the David if we don't ramp up demand and improve the Steemit platform ASAP!
