You know I love comments. People enjoy conversations and I find the quality of those here is excellent with very little spam. That's a pretty good reason to use Steemit on its own. I follow lots of people, but also check the Hot and New pages. I'll encourage new users and try to answer their questions.

Oh, I agree. My blog has been highly active here. Vastly moreso than my YouTube channel, which has nearly 7000 subscribers, vs my Steemit page, which has like 270. The difference in activity is absolutely staggering.
The Steemit community is small, but mighty!
