RE: The Road to SteemFest 3: Business or Pleasure?

I think you will really enjoy the Steemfest experience. The talks can be good, but it's the conversations over coffee or beer that make it special. You may be surprised how many know who you are.

Maybe it's a good thing it's not in the US this time. That might have been too expensive for me anyway.

This is the part I'm looking forward too. @bingbabe was a little put off by the formality of it all, with the guy at the front jabbering away, but we only have one day of that (Friday) I think.

Are they expecting me to look like my avatar though? I debating whether to switch my old picture back in, what do you think?

Now you know why I am not welcome would have been enough reason to veto that trip, if it were to be hosted there.

There's plenty of time to chat between sessions and not everyone goes to them all day. Then you have the evenings too. I can probably introduce you to a few people.

A lot of people expected it to be in the US, but Roeland said it was just too expensive. I expect there will be events there. Anyone can organise one.

Really looking forward to it, there will be more coming too.. the last minute crew.. have the prices gone up yet?

Doesn't look like they have gone up yet, but it must be soon. If I'd waited until now I would have saved a bit, but never mind.
