STEEMIT IS ONE IN A FEW WEEKS
As a massive fan of the platform, and always one to seize a golden opportunity, STEEMIT is ONE in a few weeks and is a great time for some clever marketing.
Daily Transactions on the Blockchain are comfortably hitting in excess of +100,000 transactions per day and this combined with +135,000 users is something that Dan, Ned and the rest of the team should be very proud of.
It would be great to see 24th March 2017 celebrated in style with flashing lights, balloons, banners and load music..!!
What I mean is that it should be plastered all over Social Media.
Advertorials are a fantastic way to promote any product and more so when you achieve a milestone like your first birthday.
Fixing a theme and going with the same story across multiple channels is the key to delivering a successful marketing strategy.
On other words if the same story is told over various sources people will be more inclined to listen.
There is nothing worse than a uncoordinated approach to delivering a story and one where people are singing of different hymn sheets.
As most of you know who follow my blog, I have regularly been posting the uptake of Daily Transactions and the uptake has been remarkable and very exciting to report.
It is this that people should focus on rather than the depressed value of STEEM, which is being brought down by speculation.
This depressed price which is currently valuing STEEM and the cutting edge technology behind the scene at $22 million is a joke really considering Snap Inc, that is haemorrhaging cash, has just been valued at $33 billion..!!
This crazy valuation for Snap Inc is based on "old hat" technology unlike STEEM which is on the Blockchain.
I have no doubts at all that the future is the Digital Distributed Ledger Technology (Blockchain) and there is clear evidence that we are seeing the green-shoots of this migration especially in Social Media.
When people finally wake up, and they will, to the reality that the platforms they are using are censored and dictated to reward Shareholders this is when STEEMIT will explode.
In the meantime, site back, relax, enjoy the party and wish everyone on STEEMIT a "Happy Birthday" on 24th March..!!
Thanks again for reading.
Stephen
Steemit feels like the future to me. We need to move away from ad-supported sites. People don't like being tracked. I'm waiting for Steemit to reach a tipping point. I wonder what targets the team had in mind for the first year
Totally agree. People don't want ads. That's old fashioned technology and was great for the 1970's..!! Stephen
Exactly. So many of us use ad blockers that it must be hard for sites to make money that way. Steemit is the future!
Feliz aniversario steemit
Gracias por existir se que eres una oportunidad para ganar dinero pero lastima que yo aun no gano nada ya voy un mes y nada
Toma tiempo. Usted tiene que construir una reputación y por lo menos 6 meses. Stephen
I'm definitely excited about this platform... I've been here a little over a month, and have seen enough that I'm making this one of my primary creative outlets for my writing. Next step will be to start sharing this with others.
I see a LOT of potential here, also in terms of future applications... not just this social blogging venue, but this could also be a great place for activist and charity organizations to park their operations... and bring their followers who could donate directly through the rewards on their own contributions.
Would also love to see something like PeerHub develop into a full-featured eBay/Etsy style market for independent people, absent all the "corporate seller" nonsense now dominating those places. Ebay used to be a really cool peer-to-peer market for collectibles and weird stuff; Etsy used to be a great venue for independent artists and crafts people... why not build that here, letting people easily trade worldwide by accepting Steem (and maybe BTC?) in payment.
Some great ideas here. You should share these in a Blog. These are great iniatives that you have. Have a great weekend. Stephen
Thank you for posting @stephenkendal.
Well said. Cheers.
Happy Birthday Steemit!
You are very welcome. Looking forward to the 24th. Thanks for the support. Stephen
Great idea @stephenkendal, good opportunity to introduce steemit as a stable unique social platform.
I think dev & community should participate actively in this days by greating each other, sharing videos, blogs and even meetup, lets make it a great day.

My Man Stephen!
I'm gonna sit back alright, relax, enjoying the party and can't wait to Celebrate STEEMIT's 1st Happy Birthday on March 24, 2017. Calendars marked and it's on a FRIDAY...
Frank
Three weeks today..!! ;) ;). Stephen
re-steeming this. Happy birthday!
Awesome. Thanks. It's only 3 weeks and Steemit will be one. Time flies. Stephen
I am definitely incorporating Steemit into my social media strategy and online presence. I knew the birthday was coming up but didn't have the exact date...and now it's on my calendar :D
I'd love to meet some local Steemians for a beer and some Snapchat, YouTube, FB Live fun. LOL Now that would be some wicked FUN.
We have 3 weeks to sort something out. It would be great to arrange an online live event that we can all join on the day. It would be fun. Stephen
Likewise.
Nice Stephen happy to see your content trending keep up the work!!
Thanks and thanks for the support. Stephen
Get ready to party Steemians.
STEEMIT a "Happy Birthday" on 24th March..!!
You bring the balloons, I'll bring the cake..!! ;) ;) Stephen
I came to the Steemit party a little late, but I'm still having some fun with it. I like that people can just be themselves, aliens included as I'm an alien being studying humanity. Great fun platform to express yourselves in.
I wouldn't worry too much about coming in late. In 5-7 years time you will be viewed as one of the pioneers..!! Stephen
So, time to stop the whining for a while and pull together to celebrate this anniversary! With less negative posts and some good publicity, things could only get better for Steemit :-)
I could not agree more. For me Steemit was always a 5-7 year project. The 1st year has been absolutely amazing. Stephen
