Great truth you speak of lord. I have been on Steemit a total of 10 days, and love it . The truth is when I came here it wasn't for money , fame or fortune. I did not even know that Steem was a crypto currency.
I came here for personal reasons the most important of all being a place to document my thoughts for future grandchildren to look back and see what the old man had to say.
I got married later in life to beautiful young woman much younger than myself. We have four kids that are my pride and joy.
Here is the thing, my kids never new my parents as they had already passed, if my kids are like me and wait to raise a family there is a real good chance that my grand children will never meet me. By doing my Daily Dose of Sultnpapper blog there will be a written documentation of what my thoughts, opinions and values are.
So I came here for selfish reasons, money being least of all.
The community has been more than welcoming and I enjoy being a part of it and look forward to contributing to the growth and well being of the community now that I have had time to look around.
So if no person reads or up votes my work I take no offense to it, the ones who it is intended for haven't even been born yet.
